It’s one of the most popular events held during the year at the North Carolina Estuarium, and there are still spaces available. The East Carolina Wildfowl Guild and the Estuarium present this annual decoy painting workshop where children ages 4-12 will learn to paint a miniature decoy. Each child will leave with his or her own masterpiece! Two class times are available, 9:30 and 11. While you are there be sure to check out the winning entries from the North Carolina Waterfowl Conservation Stamp Competition. Call 252-948-0000 to register for this free class.
Admit it, you sing Let It Go even when you’re in the car alone with no kids! Oh, what fun will you have at the Frozen Sing-a-long at the Turnage Theatre. Let the kids dress as their favorite character (you can dress up as Elsa if you’d like, too!) and be a part of a day that will leave lasting memories and earn you some great parent points. Tickets are $5. Showtime is 2 pm. Visit the Arts of the Pamlico website for tickets and information.
The Beaufort County Traditional Music Association will present the 4th annual Don Skinner GuitarFest again this year at the Turnage Theatre Gallery. There will be music from 2 to 10 pm with 9 acts performing music from almost every genre imaginable. Did we mention this event is free? Donations are appreciated.
